How you’ll spend your day
Acts as a Business Partner to the Global EMSO region head, supports achieving the Function's short- and long-term goals by ensuring decision-making and execution is fact-based, supported by relevant financial planning, monitoring and analysis.
Provides insights, trends analysis, communicates potential risks and opportunities and aligns the financial process with the EMSO strategy development requirements, drives efficiencies and identifies saving opportunities.
Interacts with cross-functional Financial Leads and provides input to maintain compliance, consistency, adherence and integrity with the overall Company guidelines, Business Measurement Methodology Manual, SOPs, etc.
Directs all periodical financial processes (monthly/quarterly closing, forecasts, AOP) for the function; interprets the analysed results and submits necessary corrective measures; manages the adherence to the function's expense, capital expenditure and resource budgets; presents executive information during the quarterly business reviews; initiates budget adherence measures based on the monthly expense reviews with the Regional heads.
Ensures accurate financial information by validating and implementing processes for collecting and reporting complete, relevant and timely financial data.
Approves and manages financial processes and measures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the EMSO organization and processes, including spend base and headcount.
Approves the inventory and CFC reporting for EMSO
Ensures transparency of EMSO Regional numbers and performance.
Serves as the Global EMSO liaison for all finance, accounting and budgeting aspects; coaches EMSO staff on relevant financial matters.
Participates and leads finance projects within TGO to represent Global EMSO
Manages the Global EMSO Costing process and responsible for the EMSO Costing methodology alignment.
Approves the CAPEX reporting for EMSO and CER spend in line with the defined thresholds
Signs SEC certificates for the EMSO Region
Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Your experience and qualifications
Required:
University degree in Finance or Accounting
8+ years of progressive experience in Finance/Accounting
4+ years of managerial experience
Fluency in English – verbally and in writing
Global or international work experience
Preferred:
Pharmaceutical industry experience
Experience in Business Finance management
Experience in managing expenses
Thorough understanding of financial systems

Professional Expertise – outstanding understand of Business processes and the financial aspects and implication of these processes
