we are now looking for a hardworking student to join our Electro-Optics group. Electro-Optic devices are a crucial component in modern Data-Centers Interconnects. Now that Moores law is reaching its end, they are also becoming more important in chip-to-chip connections. At Nvidias Electro-Optics group we develop, design, characterize and model Electro-Optic and silicon photonic devices. This position offers the opportunity to have a real impact on the future technology of a multifaceted, technology-focused company impacting product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence.

What youll be doing:

Measure and characterize discrete and integrated electro-optical components and sip devices in both electrical and optical domains in a state-of-the-art optical high-speed lab.

Design and execution of new experiments, lab automation and data analysis.

During your work, you will participate in the process of bringing up a new technology from the R&D stage, to the Engineering and production, this is an opportunity for close collaborations with both Nvidia researchers and Engineering teams taking our products and implementing them into the final products.

Working with a highly skilled group of engineers and physicist proficient in the multi-disciplinary field of silicon photonics.
