The opportunity
We are currently seeking a Director, OPEX to join our team.
This position has overall responsibility for the leadership, development, execution, and maintenance of Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement for the Teva Canada Site’s and the New Jersey, Cincinnati, and Florida locations.
How you’ll spend your day
Identify, prioritize, lead, and execute improvement projects across all functions of the business.
Build Operational Excellence capabilities across Teva Canada Sites.
Oversight and ownership of Gross Margin Enhancement activities across Teva Canada Sites.
Engagement cross-functionally at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ownership of site metrics to identify opportunities to drive improvement.
Ensure the adoption of fundamental OPEX principles across Teva Canada Sites such as 5S, Gemba, visual factory, standard work, etc.
Training campus personnel on Operational Excellence principles.
Management and development of direct reports and indirect (if applicable) reports.
Responsible for completing all training requirements and maintaining 100% compliance with all assignments.
Responsible for maintaining work areas and performing job functions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Batch Record instructions.
Responsible for performing additional related duties as assigned.
