In this role, you will have a unique opportunity to build and lead a team according to your vision for asset creation and management. Additionally, you will define work methodologies aligned with your perspective on effective team collaboration and delivery. As the DevOps Team Leader, your integral responsibilities will include the design of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows, the creation of automated staging environments, and the development of local environments, all instrumental in facilitating the work of over 100 developers.
Furthermore, you will assume ownership and leadership of the entire infrastructure supporting these crucial aspects of the development process. Your design decisions will be informed by your vision, emphasizing efficiency, stability, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration is at the core of this role, requiring close cooperation with our R&D, Security, and Corporate IT teams. You will serve as a trusted technical architect, playing a pivotal role in shaping the methodologies employs to develop, test, and deliver its applications and solutions.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead DevEx team
Evaluate, design, and implement new CI/CD, staging, and local development solutions
Design, build, and maintain all cloud infrastructure relevant to the DevEx team's responsibilities
Address service requests and features from the entire R&D group
Extensive proficiency with modern DevOps CI tooling
Over 2 years of experience managing engineering teams
Over 5 years of experience managing cloud-based environments
Expertise in AWS
Professional software development experience with languages such as Python, Ruby, GoLang, or Javascript
Proven understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, data, integration, and application layers
Experience deploying and operating services based on Linux containers and virtualization (Docker, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hebrew
A desire to mentor and provide technical leadership
