We are looking for a Cost Accounting Student.
The Cost Accounting Student supports the finance team in maintaining accurate cost data, analyzing variances, and ensuring proper financial controls.
The role involves close collaboration with Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, and Warehouse teams to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date database to support perpetual inventory cost accounting
Set and maintain financial parameters for new item and warehouse openings across all entities.
Review and analyze routing changes, updating system cost data accordingly.
Reconcile unbilled shipments and purchases not yet billed.
Perform return-to-vendor (RTV) and return transaction (RT) analysis.
Conduct purchase price variance (PPV) analysis and support Procurement with cost trend .
Review actual versus standard costs in work orders, identify variances, and support process improvements.
Identify process gaps and inefficiencies across interfaces and workflows and actively drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Working according to Insightec Quality Policy, relevant Quality Procedures & Standards, and privacy & safety rules.
