We are looking for a senior data Science specializing in algorithms in the field of computer vision and image processing. This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Computer Vision Scientist, you will be responsible for:
* Complex, real-world problems with immediate impact on patients lives. You will solve computer vision challenges that can be applied to large scale microscopy imaging.
* You will develop robust object recognition and localization approaches on cloud services to accurately translate biological phenomena into computational readouts.
* You will conduct research, design and production level implementation of disruptive algorithms for semantic segmentation, object detection and classification of 3-dimensional neuron images using Machine Learning and deep learning methods.
* You will be involved in fast prototyping, feasibility studies, specification, and integration of computer vision algorithms into our product components.
* Generating reliable, correct training data with great attention to detail. Identifying and debugging issues in training deep learning models such as overfitting, leakage and label noise.
* You will advance the state-of-the-art in the field, including generating patents and publications in top journals and conferences.
