We are looking for a talented Component & Reliability Engineer to join a unique and meaningful team.
Job Responsibilities:
Involve in all aspects of component engineering such as design support which involves Component Selection including technical analysis, reliability of component, availability, and Component cost.
Search, explore and find new technologies and components sources
Support R&D in identification and qualification of electronics/Electromechanical/ Mechanical components. and designs requirements' improve product reliability by participating in design reviews and DFM.
Support logistic / quality /purchasing / production channels /global subcontractor with component related issues.
Lead components cost reduction process- Knowledge on Value Engineering for cost savings.
involves product lifecycle management, – to know when a component is going to be obsolete or to analyses the formfitfunctionality changes in the component. – finding alternate components for discontinued/Obsolete Components
Maintain all Parts Database across AVL for any component changes.
Develop and execute component evaluation, acceptance, and qualification test plans.
Provide inputs on component selection to New designs to
Perform Alternate component search and provide a detailed Component comparison report
Component fault analysis on component related problem – solving and implementing.
Interact with OEM & suppliers for sourcing, alternate part identification, part & supplier qualification, and costing of components.
Good Knowledge of Supplier base related to Electromechanical / Electronic components.

Minimum Qualifications:
BSc in Electronic engineer.
A minimum of 5+ year experience in Electronics and electro mechanical component engineering and component selection analysis.
Understanding of detailed manufacturing process and end to end parameters of Electronic and Electromechanical components
Expert knowledge in component parameters and its significant impact on product performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Has very good English communication skills (written & verbal).
Experience with documentation standards.
Standardization Engineer advantage
development engineering background- advantage.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments.
Good experience Knowledge in PDM platform (Agile,Orcad)
Good direct relations with global manufacturers
Good experience with power supply and components Standardization such RoHS, REACH, UL, CE, FCC, IPC etc
Ability to work independently, debug issues and find solutions.
Motivated and energetic with an ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment with daily interrupts.
Team player with very good communication skills.
