You will identify and map KOLs, investigators and research centres and collaborate with local and HQ clinical operations teams to perform feasibility and take part in the allocation process. You will provide operational input from country insights to early protocol development, identify and engage with relevant patient advocacy groups and investigate areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration with investigators.
Through your team of direct reports, you will facilitate and support the execution of clinical trials related to New Therapy Areas (including CKD, CVD, Liver Disease, and inflammation) by providing medical/scientific expertise.
Your main accountabilities:
Discuss relevant early development data with medical experts, optimizing the feasibility process for clinical trial conduct.
Identify and regularly engage with experts in relevant Therapy Areas to collect early scientific insights and drive the process of mapping of clinical care pathways and work in close collaboration with the Medical Affairs team.
Deliver Medical guidance – ensure training of CMMs and other cross functional teams across the affiliate on the scientific background of the trials. Provide leadership in the relevant scientific community conducting advisory boards, scientific meetings, driving publications and engaging with local medical associations on relevant topics.
Contribute to delivering successful clinical trials execution in collaboration with the clinical operations team by driving scientific discussions, attendance at investigator meetings, and engaging key investigators to communicate trial results.
Conduct scientific activities aimed at patient retention and recruitment and ensure continuous dialogue with investigators and site staff to support smooth study conduct and insights collection throughout the duration of the study.
MD or PhD degree in healthcare or life sciences with a strong clinical and preferably research background
≥5 years of clinical or pharmaceutical industry experience
Experience as a people manager(≥3 years)
Solid experience with human healthcare research
Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development
Good understanding the specificities and nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure
Experience from Medical Affairs function preferred
Strong presentation skills
Our offices located in Kfar Saba. This is a hybrid position which requires your presence in the office three days a week.
