As a Strategic Partnerships lead, you will be responsible for growing partnership ecosystem by sourcing, closing, and launching high-scale business collaborationsincluding platform integrations, channels, and reselling partnershipswith leading brands in the online industry. In addition, you will be responsible for designing and developing dedicated solutions, funnels, and experiences tailored for the partners and their audiences.
You will report to the Executive Director of Partnerships & Affiliates and collaborate closely with internal teams such as R&D, product, legal, and finance to drive successful partnership execution.
The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of global business development/partnerships experience in the online industry, have successfully formulated and executed strategic partnership GTM strategies and related initiatives, and have excellent communication skills.
What am I going to do?
Strategy: prioritize ideal partnership models and partner profiles, create partnership enablement infrastructure, and develop dedicated solutions and funnels for the partners.
Identify and engage potential partners, define and pitch unique partnership proposals based on the partners business goals and joint use cases.
Work with internal teams (e.g. R&D, product, marketing, legal, finance) to set up and launch the partnerships.
Proactively track, report, and optimize the performance of partnerships.
Develop a systematic, process-driven approach to sourcing and managing the partnerships based on a deep understanding of offering, business needs, and industry dynamics.
5-7 years of global business development experience in the online industry.
Track record of closing impactful partnerships, driving revenue, and acquiring new customers.
Management or significant leadership experience.
Comfortable with technical discussions and partner onboarding.
Proficient in preparing and presenting business models and impact estimations.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Experience engaging C-level executives and understanding decision-making processes.
Strong professional network in B2C internet & B2B space.
Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and independence.
BA/BS degree required.
