We are seeking a Biz Ops Manager to lead the team and the operational aspects of our global backbone, overseeing the setup of new Points of Presence (PoPs), managing vendor relationships, and serving as the commercial point of contact for other departments within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the team that is responsible for the operational aspects of our global backbone, overseeing the setup of new Points of Presence (PoPs), managing vendor relationships, and serving as the commercial point of contact for other departments within the organization.
Evaluate potential new vendors for our PoPs, considering both commercial and technical aspects, and make strategic decisions based on these evaluations.
Initiate and oversee the commercial cycle of new vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Manage the logistics of all PoP equipment, including order submission, inventory monitoring, and distribution.
Direct and supervise the delivery and installation process of new PoPs, collaborating closely with our Dev Ops team to ensure seamless integration.
Monitor and optimize the daily operations of our PoPs, implementing best practices and process improvements as necessary, in close collaboration with our Net Ops team.
Conduct regular audits and analyses of our monthly PoP expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency enhancements, and work on implementing these improvements in collaboration with our Finance team.

3-5 years of experience in a managerial role overseeing Data Center activities at a growing global tech company, with prior startup experience highly preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving common goals.
Technical background is advantageous.
Proven track record of successful vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
Availability for occasional after-hours work on urgent occasions, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Economics is advantageous.
Highly self-motivated and outcome-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and deliver results within established timelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues before they escalate.
