The role is based at our R&D center in Haifa and includes hands-on work across two different tissue culture laboratories on site.
The position reports to the Biology Lab Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cell culture work, including cell thawing, splitting, and routine maintenance.
Preparation of media, buffers, and laboratory solutions.
Routine maintenance of laboratory equipment, devices, and cell culture plates.
Operation and work with laboratory systems and equipment.
Execution of bio-assays such as bio-compatibility tests and mycoplasma detection.
Supporting researchers with ongoing tissue culture experiments and lab activities.
Documentation and writing work procedures according to GLP standards.
Receiving ongoing tasks from the Biology Lab Manager according to changing needs and priorities.
Workload allocation and task execution across two laboratory environments.
B.Sc. in Biology / Life Sciences / Health Sciences.
Knowledge:
Experience working in sterile tissue culture environments.
Familiarity with standard biological laboratory techniques and methods.
Strong technical skills and hands-on laboratory ability.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
High level of English (spoken and written).
Flexibility and adaptability – ability to work with shifting priorities, handle spontaneous workload peaks, and divide time effectively between two labs.
