Required Bioinformatics Analyst.
Join our interactive team, located at Tel Aviv and Charit Medical University in Berlin, to analyze OMICS data from a collection of ~2000 different isolates of Candida albicans, a diploid yeast that is one of the most common opportunistic fungal pathogens of humans.
About the Job:
The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of next-generation sequencing technologies with demonstrated practical experience in developing and carrying out analytical strategies in the context of NGS applications of critical importance to microbiology research (e.g. bulk genome analysis, allele-specific expression analysis, variant calling, genome assembly and annotation, etc), and will be involved in analyzing questions of genome structure and how they differ between the isolates (aneuploidies, CNVs, centromeres, transposons, telomeres, rDNA, mt RNA) and how those differences correlate with a wide range of phenotypes being assayed in the lab.
*Please send the information below:
A current CV, List of publications, Names and contact information for 3 references, your GitHub profile; and/or an example of coding you have done.
