A biotech company, at the forefront of science and technology, backed by a prominent Venture Capital group, developing novel synthetic vectors for gene and cell therapy applications, is looking for a Bioinformatician to join an expanding bioinformatics team.
Responsibilities:
This role will be crucial in developing and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines and conducting secondary and meta-analyses of experimental data which will drive data -driven insights across our organization.
Develop, implement, and maintain bioinformatics pipelines for data processing and analysis.
Conduct secondary and meta-analyses of experimental data to extract valuable insights.
Perform complex data analysis using statistical and Machine Learning techniques.
Collaborate with wet lab scientists to design experiments and analyze results.

MSc/Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
At least 3 years of industry experience in bioinformatics and data analysis roles must
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or PERL.
Strong background in statistical analysis.
Experience in developing, running, and maintaining bioinformatics pipelines.
Familiarity with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS an advantage
Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker) and workflow management systems an advantage
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) an advantage
Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
