Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of three senior backend developers in Poland and Israel, ensuring the successful achievement of project milestones and objectives.
Spearhead the design and architecture of new features and systems, converting complex requirements into scalable and robust solutions.
Remain hands-on with coding duties, dedicating about 30% of your time to developing code for proofs of concept (POCs), addressing complex problems, and other tasks not directly related to production.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align with the company's strategic direction and promote the ongoing improvement of development practices.
Guide a professional guild of backend developers, serving as the technical mentor for all backend development aspects related to serverless architecture within the company. Provide guidance and mentorship to backend developers from other teams, and implement development methodologies and best practices to enhance the team's efficiency and the quality of serverless applications.
4+years of backend software development experience, with a solid grounding in server-side technologies.
Proficiency in Python / Typescript
2 +years in a leadership role such as Tech Lead or Team Leader.
Experience managing remote teams, particularly in an international context, is highly regarded.
A Bachelors degree or higher in Software Engineering or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
Proven skills in system design and architecture, with the ability to oversee the creation of high-quality, scalable solutions.
