We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Data Apps team!
A day in the life and how youll make an impact:
Work with all of Melios data to improve the product – from analysis and understanding to applying insights for new solutions.
Act as an all-around team player, influencing the product from overall user experience to technical development.
Use top technologies such as TypeScript, Python, AWS, Spark, LLMs, Bedrock, and scalable databases to create a unique B2B payments experience.
Understand and manage all entities in Melio. Create, creating a complete entity mapping.
Build new LLM-based applications to enhance data quality and performance.
Lead projects end-to-end, from requirements and design through to production.

Requirements:
At least 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer in software engineering, architecture, and design.
Experience working with data – scaling, understanding the data.
Experience in designing and implementing large scale projects.
Independent, fast learner, and excited about learning new technologies.
Tech Enthusiasts – more important than experience is to have the passion to learn and get out of the comfort zone.
Bonus points:
Experience working with data application technologies such as Spark.
Experience working with Bedrock or any other LLM infrastructure.
