About the Role: The Operations department at Innoviz Technologies is responsible for building and operating the hardware manufacturing lines. We are seeking a talented Automation Testing Software Engineer to join our growing Testing and Product Engineering team. Key Responsibilities:
* Develop testing code, automation scripts, and testing environments using various programming languages.
* Perform installation and integration at contract manufacturing sites, which may be located abroad.
* Gain a comprehensive understanding of the hardware and software aspects of LiDAR to ensure stable, efficient, and high-quality production tests.
* Ensure high availability and quality of products being shipped to customers.
* Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams within the company.

Experience : Minimum of 3 years in developing and maintaining automatic testers for both hardware and software. Education : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Technical Skills
* Proficiency in Python, with proven practical experience.
* Strong ability to dive into electrical design and schematics.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary R&D teams.
* Familiarity with embedded development (advantageous).
* Experience working with microcontrollers (advantageous).
* Knowledge of continuous integration tools like Git and defect tracking and task management tools such as Jira.
* System engineering capabilities (advantageous).
* Understanding of manufacturing robots (advantageous). Soft Skills
