A day at Automation
In your new role as Automation Technician (m/f/d), you will be part of a team that is responsible for the integration and support of various systems within automation. This includes analytical systems or package units, which you will manage and administer in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines. This also includes the independent review of cGMP-relevant documents and the creation of documents in your area of responsibility. You will also be involved in the commissioning and qualification activities of the associated GMP-relevant systems.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the availability of the systems in your area of responsibility and will be in close contact with colleagues from all departments involved. As a member of our Automation Team, you will have the opportunity to work in a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team and play an active role in shaping our processes.
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
The management, configuration and optimization of automation related systems and software
Installing, setting up and maintaining software and hardware components in the field of industrial automation
Monitoring system performance, analyzing and rectifying errors and carrying out updates and upgrades
Developing and implementing automation solutions to optimize processes and increase efficiency
Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to understand requirements and develop customized solutions
Creating documentation, training materials and instructions for users and employees
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and guidelines in the field of industrial automation
Support in order and invoice management within the department
Support with administrative tasks, such as user administration, reviews or access management

You are
A motivated Team player
Experienced with administration analytical systems and package units
Ready to take on new challenges
You have
A degree in electrical or automation engineering or a comparable field of study or education
Very good knowledge of software systems and a quick understanding of new applications
Very good knowledge of the applicable national and international laws and guidelines in the cGMP area with a focus on automation
Practical experience in the operation of a highly automated production plant in a biopharmaceutical environment
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
