The opportunity
The Associate Director, Pricing Strategy is a newly created role that will be responsible for development of pricing strategies and analytics for the in-line generic product portfolio under the direction of the Senior Director, Customer Marketing. The position will work collaboratively across the organization, including Strategic Marketing, Pricing Analytics, Customer Marketing/Bid Management, Sales Forecasting, Customer Operations, Finance, Portfolio, and Alliance Management. This position will support specific requests and work directly with the VP, Pricing Operations, as needed.

Primary point of contact for the Strategic Marketing group for development of product pricing strategies and for questions relative to customer relationships/contractual impacts and profitability with goal to maximize the value of all in-line generic products.
Under the direction of the Senior Director, Customer Marketing, provide analytics and ongoing support for development and implementation of customer specific products (e.g., Long Term Awards, etc.).
Facilitate the Life Cycle Management (LCM) process from a pricing perspective working closely with Customer and Strategic Marketing to identify LCM opportunities (e.g., WAC decreases, price increases, etc.) and provide analytic support in development of recommendations to be presented to the VP, Pricing Operations.
In collaboration with Bid Management, development of analytical framework and reporting to monitor and communicate customer and product trends, determine and track impact of customer bid responses, and assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies and to understand business trends and root causes including the valuation of impacts. Provide timely and consistent reporting to Senior Director, Customer Marketing and VP, Pricing Operations. Work closely with relevant internal stakeholders in development of dashboards/tools in support thereof.
Provide analytic support for ongoing Portfolio management activities including development of current and projected Average Customer Prices (ACP), target costs, estimated market price, and preparation for bi-weekly Portfolio meetings.
Key point of contact with Finance for costing verifications and tracking of known future cost changes.
Provide analytic support to VP, Pricing Operations and Senior Director, Sales Forecasting in development of sales forecast ACPs and monitoring of pricing trends on an ongoing basis.
