The opportunity
A new, exciting opportunity has arisen at Teva Pharmaceuticals for an experienced Facilities Manager to join us as the Associate Director, Facilities Management for APAC cluster. As the APAC Associate Director Facilities Management, you will be responsible for the strategic oversight of facilities, real estate and physical security services for all sites in our APAC region in order to support business operations. Your key focus will be to support governance over the management of hard/soft services and projects, drive continuous improvement across all sites and strengthen relationships with customers.
Facilities Management Services include but are not limited to hard services such as the maintenance, installation and construction of building systems and infrastructure such as electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems and utilities. It also includes soft services including security, cleaning, food services, waste management, pest control, uniforms, etc.
In this role, you will be reporting to the Senior Director, Regional Facilities Management, International Markets based in Israel.
How you’ll spend your day
As the APAC Associate Director Facilities Management, your responsibilities include:
Provide strategic support for the team overseeing all facilities and physical security operations
Leads changes for assigned sites in accordance with the strategic initiatives within Global Facilities Management (GFM) and TEVA
Assist sites during the development of annual budgets for operational and capital expenses, to reach cost reduction targets set by the Business and Teva
Monitor Facilities service levels in line with SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs in order to support business operations and reach service improvement targets
Engage with all relevant stakeholders on a reoccurring basis including with relevant business manager to align on goals and work plans, and coordinate with other functions (i.e. Corporate Security, EHS, etc.) to meet business needs
Oversee regional strategic projects (opening and/or closure of sites, construction, relocating sites, technology-related projects, etc.)
Ensures compliance with Teva and GFM policies, procedures, operating plans and SOPs
Support the VP GFM with the implementation of strategic plans and initiatives for assigned sites
Identify operational requirements and solutions for upcoming issues and problems (bottlenecks) on various organizational levels:
Acting as FM interface and supporting synergy on projects with the local, regional and global support teams
Visiting sites and audit services or service providers
Requesting changes of the service providers contracts and renegotiating their contracts with support of the TEVA Procurement team
Representing FM in the new facilities planning, decommissioning, consolidation and upgrade projects to make sure that the FM requirements are achieved, and business needs met
