Were looking for an Assistant General Counsel to help us grow our leading team into new frontiers. We are looking for an experienced lawyer to serve as our Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel, supporting and reporting to our General Counsel & CFO.
Responsibilities:
This job has two principal components:
Compliance and Privacy. As a big data company dealing with personal health information, we need to ensure our compliance with HIPAA, SOC-2, and other relevant regulatory schemes, including those that apply to our insurance company partners, whose concerns we must address. In turn, we need to make sure that our vendors comply with our standards.
Assistant General Counsel. You will need to address the range of tasks that a fast-growing, bi-national company faces including employment related matters, due diligence and contracting with vendors and customers.

Member of the Bar in either Israel or the United States.
Minimum of 4 years experience.
Experience in-house (preferably a tech startup).
Level 4 or 5 proficiency in both Hebrew and English.
Record of academic excellence.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Strong working knowledge of privacy & compliance issues.
Good commercial judgment and the ability to discern the appropriate level of legal review and risk tolerance.
Additional desirable attributes:
Comfortable working with numbers.
Experience at a top law firm.
Member of the Bar in either Israel or the United States.
