Responsibilities:
Rigging: Demonstrating excellent character and props rigging skills using various platforms, with a focus on MGear. Ensure rigs are intuitive, responsive, and compatible with our pipeline. Troubleshoot rigging issues to maintain quality standards.
Modeling: Proficient in mobile gaming topology and 3D modeling, UV mapping, and texturing.
Work efficiently within production constraints while delivering high-quality artwork that meets or exceeds studio standards.
Collaboration: Regularly communicate with the Lead 3D Animator on task status. Seek guidance and approval when needed to progress tasks, project initiatives, and milestones. Maintain consistency and quality of rigs and models in alignment with leads and the Art Director.
Skill Enhancement: Continuously refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and in-house tools. Familiarize yourself with proprietary technologies or software as required.
Team Player: Contribute to a positive team environment and foster collaboration.
Expert proficiency in Maya Rigging & Modeling software.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a character rigger.
Proven expertise with MGear software.
Strong understanding of anatomy, with the ability to achieve realistic deformation on character surfaces.
Experience with various rig setups (e.g., bipedal, winged characters).
Proficiency in gaming industry software and tools, including Unity.
Familiarity with scripting languages, shader materials, and in-game asset management.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
