Key responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and implement AI and Machine Learning models to solve complex challenges in the plant-based food sector.
* Oversee the deployment of models into production environments, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.

* Build, lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and Machine Learning, applying best practices to enhance the team's projects.

Requirements:
* Masters degree in data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a data science leadership role, with a track record of successful project delivery, preferably from a SaaS company.
* Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, including their deployment in production environments.
* Experience in deploying Machine Learning models in production, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
* Experience in monitoring the performance and quality of models running in production, utilizing appropriate metrics and alerting systems.
* Hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks and tools
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools and frameworks.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
