What is the job:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
Implement new features and enhance existing ones for our cloud-based DDoS protection products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices are followed.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Document development processes, architecture, and code.
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
5-8 years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
Experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Proficient in working with MongoDB and understanding of NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
Understanding of cybersecurity principles, specifically related to DDoS protection.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
