Director Of Tech Dev for a eveloping company in tel aviv
Responsibilities:
Implement QA and bug handling processes
mplement GIT processes
Manage 2 Israeli devs + Ukranian dev
Manage Server with WP Engine
Implement security infrastructure
Implement speed and database optimization infrastructure
Manage new product feature implementation
Ensure website runs smoothly, bug free with 100% uptime
Requirements:
Excellent knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress
Working knowledge of PHP and MySQL
Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and JS
Must have a thorough understanding of common workflows and best practices for maintaining version control using Git
Ability to work with complex sets of data and perform data migrations using both import tools and the WordPress/WooCommerce API
Excellent working knowledge of connecting applications through the use of APIs
Experience with creating custom WordPress plugins is a plus
Thorough understanding of custom post types and taxonomies
An understanding of programming security best practices
An understanding of Front-End optimization techniques for performance
Excellent knowledge of WooCommerce and WordPress
