In addition will be responsible to perform various testing throughout product development phases, from initial concept tests to feasibility and engineering tests.
The individual will bring excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skills to the execution of development projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the engineering assembly pilot line for SmartDose 10ml sample builds.
Performs, coordinates and documents feasibility, engineering, and failure investigation related testing activities.
Perform tests using laboratory equipment, such as tensile/compression/torque testing machines (Testometric, Instron), Magnifying Glass, Analytical Balance, Data Logger, Environmental Chamber, etc.
Performs per need general maintenance activities on R&D tools, equipment, and machinery.
Support validation of products
Support industrialization and manufacturing activities
Support procurement per need
Support commercial Production Line engineering
Education: Student for B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering or Bio-Medical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: A similar experience from a medical device company- an advantage
Preferred Knowledge, languages, Skills and Abilities:
Hands on capabilities
Technical experience performing testing on medical devices.
This position requires a highly organized person with work ethic .
Proficient in MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Statistical analysis and experience with Minitab or similar tool – Advantage
Experience with Solidworks or equivalent CAD modeling software – Advantage
