Description-
Investigate and understand the basis for every line item on our cloud infrastructure invoices
Optimize performance to spend where you need to and redistribute resources
Suggest areas for improving spend by finding better rates or improved technology
Find anomalies in usage patterns and give quick feedback in order to course-correct
Predict, plan, and ensure resources utilization to estimate the need for the future and negotiate a discount or pre-allocate resources
Create business intelligence reporting to inform the broader organization and empower other teams to facilitate cost optimization and minimize waste
Assist in architectural designs and decisions
Having real-time data you can predict and make decisions to optimize costs
Review customer's cloud infrastructure and produce cost optimization reports on monthly bases
Data-driven and detail-oriented; testing and measuring every step
Knowledge of relevance monitoring and measuring to identify areas for improvement
Automate everything you can
Keep up to date on the latest cloud products and trends
Be able to consolidate several streams of information to see the big picture
Curious about every detail and strive to understand the bases for your data fully
Knowledge of AWS and Azure pricing ( Saving Plan, RI )
Desired Skills and Experience-
Intimate familiarity with the cost structure of AWS and Azure products and services
Real-world experience with BI and/or cost trackings tools such as PowerBI or AWS QuickSight advantage
Experience in negotiating long-term commitments and contracts broad knowledge of MSPs and third-party software platforms
