About the Role:
In this crucial leadership role, you will oversee the entire manufacturing process for our state-of-the-art gamma ray detectors used in SPECT and PET cameras for hospitals. You will be responsible for a team of up to 10 process engineers with diverse backgrounds in material science, mechanics, radiation physics, chemistry, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Champion continuous improvement across the entire manufacturing process, including CZT crystal growth, cutting, polishing, PCB assembly, scintillator crystal assembly, SiPM integration, and final detector head assembly.
Drive the implementation of advanced manufacturing technologies and methodologies to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and yield.
Oversee a rigorous testing regime throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to strict quality specifications.
Implement and maintain a robust Statistical Process Control (SPC) program to monitor and control critical process parameters.
Manage and maintain all manufacturing process specifications and documentation.
Partner with other departments, including R&D, Quality, and Production, to ensure seamless product development, transfer, and production.
Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and regulatory requirements
