The Director, Business Systems serves as a key partner to senior leaders across the business, defining requirements, leading systems selection, program management of implementations, ensuring change is adopted and creating an efficient and effective systems landscape.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Working with the Chief of Staff and the leadership team to create and deliver a pragmatic business applications roadmap that supports key business objectives
Partnering with business leaders to conduct research and analysis to develop insights that define business problems
Surface technology options to solve business problems, including experimenting with emerging technologies
Develop compelling business cases for the adoption of new business applications, outlining their potential impact, benefits, and alignment with our business needs
Creating and implementing measures, controls and procedures that instill best practice across application deployment, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, on budget and to a high quality
Working effectively with Procurement and external vendors, ensuring the appropriate measures and controls are in place to drive optimum performance in the delivery of all applications
Developing, tracking and owning implementation of cross-functional programs, including: managing schedules and work plans, preparing and presenting status updates, tracking KPIs and progress, highlighting bottlenecks and delivering interventions

Requirements:
A proven ability to create and execute a pragmatic business application and tooling roadmap/portfolio that evolves to meet business needs globally
Disciplined in running an integrated strategy and able to provide recommendations that operate safely and securely within our existing technology infrastructure
Adept at operating at senior levels within the business to influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders
A breadth of application deployment experience equally comfortable driving the creation of cutting edge solutions as driving continuous improvement of existing systems
Experience in managing application solutions hosted both on traditional infrastructure and in the cloud including ERP (e.g. NetSuite), CRM (e.g. Salesforce) & HCM (e.g. Workday) systems
Strong vendor management capability, with the ability to drive world class performance from external suppliers, ensuring contractual commitments are met, negotiating the scope of work, development, enhancements and upgrades
Extensive experience driving multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements
Experience of agile delivery of software development and product lifecycle, having worked on and led projects including the ongoing development and new development of products and services. Certifications (e.g. scrum master) are desirable
