KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develop subsurface imaging algorithms based on data acquired from multiple sensors.
-Define and implement Signal Processing methods.
-Validate the performance of developed solutions based on empirical studies, and clearly communicate and document conclusions.
-Collaborate with team members and provide necessary support for technology transfer.
-Support existing technology in a production environment.
-Stay up to date with industry technology and software trends to bring ideas to geophysical solutions.
-Ph.D. or MS in Geophysics or Physics.
-Five years of experience in a relevant industry, working with real data.
-Results-oriented, high levels of curiosity, independence, and creativity.
-Outstanding teamwork capabilities.
-High level of proficiency in geophysical signal processing (seismic, ground penetrating radar, ERT, FDEM)
-Proficiency in numerical modeling of elastic and EM wave propagation.
-Proficiency in optimization methods to solve inverse problems.
-Experience with Linux-based systems and Python programming language
-Previous experience with the development of acoustic surveying tools and technology is highly desirable.
-Demonstrated ability to conceive of and develop creative/innovative technology.
-Demonstrated teamwork, strong communication skills, and collaboration in complex projects.
-Advance depth imaging (FWI, RTM, LSRTM) and velocity model building experience.
-Propose when relevant new processing, inversions and seismic acquisitions.
