Software Engineer Intern, Computer Vision, Image processing and ML Responsibilities
Work on advanced technologies Cloud technologies in the domain of Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Machine Learning.
Deliver results that have a direct impact Reality Labs products.
Analyze complex cloud systems defining and monitoring system performance based on existing and new metrics and measuring user impact.
Collaborate with team members throughout the lifetime of a project, from research to prototyping to deploying products.

Requirements:
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering
2+ years experience with Python and/or C++
Familiar with concepts of distributed systems and containerization
Demonstrated software engineering experience via an internship, work experience, coding competitions, open source contributions, or research
Experience with SQL or alternatives
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
Preferred Qualifications
Strong focus on C++ and its standards
Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix systems
Knowledge in Computer Vision, in one or more of the following domains: Monocular/Stereo Depth Estimation, Multi-View Geometry (e.g. Structure-from-Motion, Multi-View Stereo, SLAM), Semi / Weakly / Self-supervised Machine Learning, Computational Geometry)
Experience with data manipulation and analysis with NumPy/Pandas/Spark or alternatives.
Excellent interpersonal skills, cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
Intent to return to a degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op
