The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, and executing primarily technological procurement processes to ensure the timely acquisition at the best possible vendor value.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and other criteria.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements, and compliance with regulations
Manage day-to-day vendor relationships, ensuring excellent service delivery to relevant departments.
Forecast procurement requirements and ensure timely fulfillment.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their specific needs efficiently.
Manage end-to-end procurement processes from issue identification to delivery and payment.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
Analyze market trends, pricing, and competitive supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Industrial engineering, Law, Business Administration or related field.
Proven experience in a relevant procurement role, with at least 2-3 years years of relevant experience.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Data analysis skills, good business instincts and problem-solving abilities.
High-level proficiency and experience in Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
English – Native speaker.
ADVANTAGE:
Solid understanding of procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Experience or aptitude to understand contract language, and knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Familiarity with the tech market, particularly with SaaS, AWS cloud providers, consultants, and integration companies.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance immediate and long-term priorities.
Experience with procurement software and tools, including ERP systems and e-procurement platforms.
