We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer for our Tel Aviv R&D center.
As a Principal software engineer within our team, you play a pivotal role in driving cross-organizational impact by spearheading the development of the core of our advanced system, which safeguards cloud-native workloads and provide Real-Time cyber defense for servers, k8s clusters, serverless offering and more.
Your crucial role goes beyond development, involving your position as a technical expert who offers guidance and support to fellow team members while also leading entire product areas as a tech-lead.
You'll be actively contributing to the development of Prisma Cloud, our Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP), designed to secure cloud-based applications across the major cloud providers. You will be part of the Cloud Workload Protection Platform (CWPP) group working on real-time detection, alerting, prevention and remediation of global cyber-attacks in both Linux and Windows environments.
Your Impact:
Find and implement innovative solutions to counter cyberattacks which involve real time detection, alerting, prevention and remediation capabilities
Leading end-to-end development of both our runtime security agent and backend service
Utilize cutting-edge Linux kernel technologies such as eBPF / fanotify / PTrace/ LSM
Work closely with experienced engineers, architects, security researchers and product managers.

Requirements:
8+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software and Computer Engineering, or equivalent military experience required
Extensive knowledge of Linux internals
Cloud development experience
Proven experience with multi-threaded distributed application development
Preferred
Familiarity with multiple Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc)
Experience with containers, docker, k8s and serverless technologies
Experience in eBPF technology
Experience in Go Language
Experience with security related technologies and/or Linux Security modules (SecureBoot, SELinux, AppArmor, etc)
Experience in Linux kernel programming.
