The position
Mobileye China is seeking a Controller to join our Finance team. The Accountant will be responsible for compliance with corporate policies, financial reporting, supporting corporate's strategic agreements with business partners, and will manage 1 Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate is well-versed in accounting and experienced in working cross-functionally with different departments and experience working in a global team. The position can be hybrid, working in the Shanghai (Huangpu District) office 3-4 days a week, and will report to the Subsidiary Controller based in Israel.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor the reporting period's close process (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
Manage local tax issues, tax returns, and ongoing tax reporting.
Be familiar with the Company's end-to-end payroll process.
Support ongoing business activities (including accounting aspects of arrangements with customers and suppliers).
Support ~150 employees in China by managing financial company policies and assisting employees as needed.
Manage 1 bookkeeper, also located in the Shanghai Office, to monitor bookkeeping tasks, payments, tax reporting and cash management.
Work cross-functionally with other departments (legal, sales, operations, HR, R&D)
Requirements/Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in a global company as an Accountant.
Analytical thinker who is an expert in accounting and financial reporting.
Ability to multi-task a heavy workload.
Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
Expert in US GAAP and Chinese GAAP, local reporting requirements and tax reporting.
CPA certificate or equivalent preferred.
Expert in Excel
Fluent in English, written and verbal.
Excellent people skills and communication.
ERP experience is an advantage (Netsuite in particular).
