The opportunity
Financial Accountant will assist Senior Manager Financial Controller and Accounting team with all Financial Duties.
How you’ll spend your day
Ensure all filing of documentation is done timeously weekly and monthly. 
Capture, balance and reconcile all cashbooks. (All entities) 
Capture, balance and reconcile local creditors. (All entities) 
Prepare monthly journal entries 
Prepare Intercompany journals 
Load weekly payments 
Ensure all accounting transactions are correctly recorded. 
Meet deadlines as per month end deadline list provided 
Have thorough knowledge and understanding of work performed, processed and submitted. 
Ensure all information required to complete month end is received and processed on time. 
Ensure month end is completed and submitted on time. 
Maintain Accruals, Prepaid Expense, Sundry customer and deposit accounts- all entities 
Perform adhoc duties as required by Snr Financial Controller and Financial Accountant.
