We seek a skilled and adaptable HIL Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and improvement of our next-generation Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation systems. Your strong software development skills (Python and/or C++), ability to navigate complex software architectures, and aptitude for system-level thinking will be essential to ensure the robustness and timely delivery of our HIL solutions.
What will your job look like?
Develop, test, and maintain Python and/or C++ software components within the HIL environment. Analyze existing codebases to identify improvement opportunities and resolve issues within large, mature software products.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of system-level interactions and dependencies within the HIL platform and related software systems.
Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex software issues in a rigorous and methodical manner.
Actively participate in the integration and testing of HIL components, ensuring seamless operation of the end-to-end system.
Collaborate with engineers to design and implement creative solutions that enhance the functionality and maintainability of the HIL platform.
Adapt readily to changes in priorities and requirements, work effectively within cross-functional teams, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
All you need is:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on software development experience with a strong proficiency in Python and C++.
Proven ability to understand, debug, and modify complex, large-scale software systems.
System-Level Mindset: A knack for understanding system-wide interactions and dependencies, aiding in troubleshooting and solution design.
Dynamic & Adaptable: Embraces challenges, demonstrates flexibility in response to shifting priorities, and effectively communicates technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
Advantages:
