We are seeking a FinOps engineer to join our team. we are looking for someone who's proactive, creative, and reliable with relevant experience, flexibility, and enthusiasm. The FinOps engineer will be focused on managing all aspects of Cloud\SaaS costs and cost optimization. You will solve complex business problems utilizing business process and cloud computing technologies. You will work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and cloud teams to deliver options and solutions on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate in the development of new tools and strategies for an innovative, evolving Cost Optimization service
* Design and maintain reports and KPIs, that provide detailed usage statistics of resource consumption
* Monitor cloud consumption to detect, investigate, and escalate anomalies
* Stay connected with new cloud capabilities and features, which impact service consumption
* Support stakeholders in understanding their cloud spend, based on their business roadmap and budgeted forecast
* End to end management of cloud and SaaS based solutions budgeting
* Enhance procurement processes to meet native-cloud aspects
Requirements:
* Experience with Cloud billing and cost management tools and processes
* Experience with cloud workload and governance
* Strong understanding of SaaS based solutions licensing and cloud technologies
* Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
* Degree in General Business, or Information Technology – advantage
* Basic knowledge of querying and organizing data
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience with Cloud billing and cost management tools and processes
* Experience with cloud workload and governance
* Strong understanding of SaaS based solutions licensing and cloud technologies
* Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational skills
* Degree in General Business, or Information Technology – advantage
* Basic knowledge of querying and organizing data
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
