Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain our AWS serverless infrastructure using AWS CDK, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Own and evolve our Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines from code commit to production deployment, continuously improving speed and reliability.
Champion the use of AI-powered tools across the engineering lifecycle to reduce manual effort and improve quality.
Build and maintain comprehensive observability solutions using DataDog, including dashboards, monitors, and AI-assisted anomaly detection.
Continuously look for opportunities to improve and modernize developer workflows and incident response through smart tooling and automation.
Work hand-in-hand with fellow software engineers to design infrastructure that supports modern serverless patterns and event-driven architectures on AWS.
Drive a culture of automation and continuous improvement – if it can be automated or made smarter, do it.
Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging tools and technologies to improve the overall development, release, and operations process.

Requirements:
4+ years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.
Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, Step Functions, SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, etc.).
Proficiency with AWS CDK for infrastructure as code.
Experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines (declarative pipelines, shared libraries, plugins).
Experience with DataDog – metrics, logs, traces, monitors, and dashboards.
Demonstrated use of AI tools in an engineering context – whether LLM-based coding assistants, AI-driven observability, intelligent CI/CD, or similar.
Good scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
Strong understanding of cloud networking, security principles, and AWS IAM best practices.
Ability to lead DevOps practices within a cross-functional team – defining standards, driving adoption, and acting as a technical anchor for infrastructure decisions.
Proactive and self-driven, with a strong internal drive for quality and improvement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills – able to explain complex infrastructure concepts clearly to developers, stakeholders, and product managers.
