Semi Conductor Devices (SCD), a worldwide leader of high-end Infrared Detectors and thermal video cores, is seeking a Senior Digital VLSI Engineer to participate in the definition, design, verification, implementation, and silicon validation of next-generation infrared image sensors. Responsibilities • Be part of a team defining future Image Sensor Digital controller Architecture • Participate in the digital design and verification effort of state-of-the-art IR Image Sensors, working closely with the Analog designers and Board designers (internal and external interfaces) • Take part in ASIC development lifecycle (pre- and post-silicon) – from Spec definition to block-level design, full-Chip till Silicon Validation in the laboratory and customer support • Lead the design and integration of complex digital blocks from specification to silicon • Drive VLSI innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the design organization
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in either Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree from a recognized institution • 5+ years of experience in Digital VLSI design from micro-architecture through RTL implementation and verification • Experience with Digital design tools and environment • Experience in defining and reading Specification documents Advantages • Experience in Architecture definition at system and/or block levels • Experience in custom circuit design • RTL design experience using Verilog/SystemVerilog • Knowledge in o Digital Design and Verification tools and flows o Synthesis and P&R tools o Static-timing analysis o Power design and analysis o DFT concepts including Scan, MBIST, and ATPG o CDC/RDC design and verification • Experience in Design and/or Verification methodology definition • Experience with image sensor, video processing, or high-speed interface designs • Experience with UVM-based verification • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, TCL, or Perl • Experience with low-power design techniques • Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical activities Location: Bar-Lev, near Karmiel
