We are looking for a DevFinOps Engineer who is a DevOps expert at heart but possesses a specialized passion for cloud financial management. At our company, this isn't just about reading billing reports, its about engineering efficiency.
You will join our DevOps team as a technical leader who views cost as a first-class engineering metric, just like performance or reliability. Youll be the primary architect of our cloud spending strategy while remaining deeply embedded in our core infrastructure and platform work.
What am I going to do?
Engineer for Efficiency: You wont just find savings, youll build the automation, tools, and infrastructure changes required to achieve them.
Bridge the Gap: Act as the translator between Engineering and Finance, turning complex cloud usage data into actionable technical roadmaps.
Mentor & Evangelize: Serve as the domain owner for the entire engineering organization, teaching teams how to architect for cost-efficiency from day one.
Full-Stack Cloud Management: Participate in the broader DevOps lifecycle, including IaC, Kubernetes management, DB management, data stream, etc.. ensuring that cost-optimization is baked into our DNA, not treated as an afterthought.
Advanced Analytics: Leverage data to forecast cloud spend, manage RIs and Savings Plans, and identify "zombie" resources or architectural bottlenecks.

Requirements:
You have extensive experience in Cloud Engineering (AWS/GCP/Azure), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Containerization (Kubernetes).
The FinOps Mindset: You get a thrill out of seeing a cloud bill drop because of an architectural optimization you led.
Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable diving deep into data, using SQL or BI tools to visualize trends and identify anomalies.
Communication Skills: You can explain the "why" behind cost-saving initiatives to both the CTO and senior management.
Curiosity: You stay ahead of the curve on new cloud provider features and pricing models to ensure our company is always utilizing the most efficient tech stack.
