What Youll Do:
As a Software Development Engineer (SDE) on the AWS Transform team, you'll be at the heart of designing, building core functions involve orchestrating hundreds or thousands of systems and legacy workloads, each with unique technical and operational constraints.
You will:
Drive end-to-end system design, implementation, and delivery
Play a key technical leadership role on the team, aligning engineering efforts with customer needs
Communicate effectively across teams to influence and guide architectural decisions
Write high-quality, efficient, and secure code that sets an example for others
Mentor teammates through design and code reviews and foster engineering best practices
Continuously grow your technical depth and leadership impact as AWS scales.

Requirements:
– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
– 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
– Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
– 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
– Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
