We are looking for a hands-on Data Team Lead to manage and grow our analytics function. You will lead a team of analysts, own our BI infrastructure, and partner directly with Executive, Product, and Risk leadership to translate complex data into strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
Lead & Mentor: Manage, recruit, and develop a high-performing team of data analysts.
Drive Strategy: Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver insights on credit risk, merchant growth, and operational efficiency.
Build Infrastructure: Own the development of self-service dashboards (Tableau/Looker) and maintain the semantic layer in collaboration with Data Engineering.
Execute Analysis: Lead complex analyses and A/B tests to optimize approval rates, pricing, and user experience.
Data Governance: Ensure data quality, accuracy, and documentation across the organization.
Requirements:
Experience: 7+ years in data analytics/BI, with 3+ years of team leadership experience.
Tech Stack: Expert-level SQL, proficiency in Python/R, and advanced skills in BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or similar).
Communication: Proven ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights for executives.
Domain: Experience in Fintech, Payments, or Lending (credit risk, fraud, transaction data) is highly preferred.
