We are looking for an experienced Opto-Mechanical Designer to join our R&D team. You will be part of the design and development of opto-mechanical systems, with a focus on medical device development. With a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in opto-mechanical design, you will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge medical devices that positively impact dental healthcare worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop and integrate opto-mechanical systems for medical dental devices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on multidisciplinary systems.
Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks is advantage) to create detailed designs, prototypes, and engineering drawings.Design and execute tests across multiple disciplines and methodologies.
Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and performance evaluations for opto-mechanical systems.

Requirements:
B.Sc. degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
6+ years of proven experience in Mechanical Engineering.
Hands on approach for fast prototyping, experimenting and proof of concept.
Knowledge of opto-mechanical design principles.
Experience in electronic packaging and thermal design.
Knowledge of various manufacturing, processing and bonding techniques.
Experience in multidisciplinary product design.
Experience in mechanical and thermal simulations.
High proficiency with complex drawings and GD&T
Possesses ability and self-confidence in public speaking, with clear and focused delivery of technical topics.
Experience in project leading including budget & timeline planning – Advantage.
Fluent in PC operation skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
