The Software Engineer is responsible for researching, designing, developing, and testing software for the companys test utilities. This role involves making high-level design decisions, setting technical standards, and ensuring long-term maintainability, extensibility, and testability of software solutions for our companys development testers and tools.
This role will be based in Haifa following our planned office relocation in 2026.

Lead software development for Testers & Calibration systems. Both internally and by subcontractors
Gather and analyze requirements from system engineering or internal stakeholders.
Design software components based on requirements, timelines, and implementation constraints.
Develop software code following established guidelines and standards.
Ensure software quality and alignment with system needs (unit testing, code reviews, defect fixing etc).

Bachelors degree in Exact Sciences, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
Minimum 5 years of R&D experience in roles such as Software Engineer.
Experience in the medical device industry is an advantage.
Strong proficiency in English – both written and verbal.
Proficient in NI TestStand (versions TS3.5 and TS2019) – must
Understanding of statistics, signal processing and physics – must
Proficient in NI LabWindows CVI – must
Proficient in ANSI C (C99) and C# must
Experience with NI Developer Suite – an advantage
Experience with MSSQL and/or other SQL servers – an advantage
Basic understanding of VBA – an advantage
Experience in creating OS images of Windows 7 and 10 – an advantage
ADO and TFS -An advantage.
