We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who's open to occasional frontend work (10-20%). You'll primarily build robust backend systems while occasionally contributing to user-facing features when needed. No frontend expertise required – just willingness to learn.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end feature development
Architect scalable solutions for our React/NestJS platform
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Security teams on user-facing features
Optimize application performance and security for enterprise customers
Build scalable systems to onboard and serve a growing customer base
Requirements:
3+ years building production backend systems
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and database design
Proficiency in TypeScript or similar statically-typed languages (Go, Java, etc.)
Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures
Knowledge of testing strategies (unit, integration, e2e)
Understanding of containerization and deployment pipelines
Willingness to occasionally work on React components
