Were looking for a motivated and collaborative Mechanical Engineer to join a cutting-edge Silicon Photonics team working on next-generation optical TEST equipment for the booming AI and semiconductor industries.
What youll do:
– Design and develop complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks (3D/2D).
– Collaborate with electrical, systems, and optical engineers on full product lifecycle from concept to production.
– Build and TEST prototypes, support NPI processes, and lead engineering changes (ECN/ECO).
– Contribute to Product Strategy and long-term roadmaps.
– Work with supply chain and vendors on component sourcing.
Requirements:
– B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc. a plus)
– 3+ years in designing complex electro-mechanical systems
– Proficiency in SolidWorks, including FEA tools (SolidWorks Simulation / Ansys)
– Experience with ECNs/ECOs, GD T, and PLM systems (e.g., TeamCenter/WindChill)
– Strong hands-on skills: mechanical drawings, cable/harness schematics, component selection
– Familiarity with manufacturing methods compliance standards (CE, UL, ISO, etc.)
– Strong problem-solving debugging skills
– Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
