We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Backend Software Engineer for our Data Detection & Response product to join us and be a part of the companys early stage core team.
The Detection team, composed of talented engineers, is responsible for developing Sentras DDR ecosystem (Data Detection and Response). This includes real-time event processing and enrichment, anomaly detection, and periodic policy detection services.
Responsibilities
Play a crucial role in Sentra’s detections components
Design and develop scalable, realtime solutions.
Interact with the rest of the R&D teams, product managers, and customer-facing solution engineers, in a mission to deliver end-to-end features and tackle complex engineering challenges
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in building backend software using a high-level language such as Python
Typescript development – an advantage
Experience in Data Engineering
Experience in architecting and developing cloud large-scale, realtime, distributed systems
Experienced in working with micro-service architecture & cloud-native services
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent experience
Solid understanding of software design principles, concurrency, synchronization, memory management, data structures, algorithms, etc
A customer oriented mindset
Self-motivated and passionate attitude
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
A great team player and collaborative team member
Experience in any of EDR, XDR, MDR like systems – an advantage
Knowledge in the Cyber Security domain – an advantage
Data Science experience – an advantage
