BTG was founded in the beginning of the genetic engineering revolution when scientists could only dream of producing mammalian proteins in bacterial cells. In July 2005, the Swiss based Ferring group acquired the company along with several of the therapeutic protein products BTG had successfully produced.
Job Description:
• Full responsibility for managing the group, resource management, budget management, project management, and long-term strategic planning.
• Managerial responsibility for implementing GMP guidelines and ensuring compliance in laboratories according to regulatory requirements, company policies, and parent company guidelines.
• Responsibility for adapting to quality management system requirements and company business objectives.
• Defining policies for conducted tests.
• Responsible for investigations, change controls, CAPA, work procedures, protocols and reports, deviations.
• Responsible for the professional and personal development of employees.
• Ensuring the professional level of employees in terms of quality, safety, and operation.
• Responsible for accrediting and training the group for various activities.
• Ensuring the safety of the team.
• Participation and representation of the Microbiology, Environmental Monitoring & Animal facility in regulatory inspections.
