Environmental Sustainability and Climate Lead
The goal of this role is to contribute to the world of food and beverage with your passion, knowledge and experience in the field of environmental sustainability and climate
You can Expect:
- Building and implementing a climate and environmental strategy in the framework of Strauss’ Sustainability strategy and goals.
- Synthesize and evaluate relevant global environmental policy trends and regulations, stakeholder action and emerging issues to help shape, inform and build initiatives with experts from within the group’s companies, with a particular focus on risk, sustainable climate, biodiversity, water, and waste.
- Promote innovation, investments, internal and external collaboration, project and sustainable practices by working collaboratively with cross-organizational teams.
- Establishing key performance indicators, reports and support other business functions in external communication and ESG disclosure efforts.
- Lead development and execution of internal capacity building efforts environmental policy positions and engagement strategies.
Experience Required:
- 6+ years of experience in related field or master's degree with 4+ years of experience.
- Climate or environmental management extensive experience in industry, food and beverage industry will be a plus
- A successful track record of developing and building and executing climate or environmental strategies, track record in circular sustainability initiatives will be a plus
- Knowledge of sustainable and environmental practices (TCFD, CDP, SBTI, SBTN, GRI, SASB)
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to lead cross-organizational teams.
