SodaStream is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Controller to join its Corporate Control team and contribute to keeping the accounting and financial processes of the company up to standard, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and controls according to USGAAP and the company’s accounting policies. This position reports to the Group Controller
Responsibilities
Participation in preparing consolidated financial reports and statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow, etc.), monthly, quarterly, and annually for presentation to the Company’s management.
Participation in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual results and reporting packages to the parent company (PepsiCo)
Be a hands-on leader who is a functional expert in accounting and financial reporting-related matters who will provide guidance for various HQ departments and SST markets (subsidiaries) and ensure execution in excellence
Compile, analyze, and monitor the activities and results of the company and its subsidiaries
Accounting and reporting: maintain accounting procedures and systems necessary to ensure that: (i) accounting transactions are recorded in compliance with USGAAP and the Company’s accounting policies, and (ii) reporting of financial performance is accurate and completed timely. Proactively monitor, interpret, and disseminate, as required, all relevant and appropriate accounting issues
Ensure controls over financial reporting processes are in place and are executed in excellence
Working with the Company’s external auditors/advisors on audit, accounting and other economic matters
Work closely with the different PepsiCo financial functions (Control, Tax, Treasury)
Lead projects related to accounting and financial reporting and partner with the business to assess implications on processes and systems triggered by business initiatives
Manage an assistant controller
