We're looking for a Quality Architect to help take our quality practices to the next level. Our development teams own the quality of what they build, and there's already a strong culture of accountability in place. This role is about strengthening and scaling that culture-defining clear quality metrics, shaping best practices, and enabling effective, team-driven automation strategies. You'll collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide quality decisions, encourage consistency where it counts, and promote the reuse of automation patterns and frameworks. This is a strategic and technical role, ideal for someone who's passionate about engineering excellence and has the vision to influence quality across a growing organization.
Responsibilities:
– Define Quality Strategy: Partner with engineering leadership to shape and communicate a clear, scalable approach to quality across the organization.
-Establish Metrics & KPIs: Define meaningful quality indicators (e.g., test coverage, flakiness, defect rates) and support their adoption within teams.
– Create Shared Guidelines: Develop best practices and reference models for testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E, performance), CI/CD quality gates, and validation workflows.
– Support Scalable Automation: Help teams build and evolve automation strategies that align with their workflows and leverage shared frameworks where possible.
– Coach and Collaborate: Act as a trusted advisor to engineering teams, supporting them in refining their testing approaches and addressing quality challenges. – Drive Consistency and Improvement: Identify gaps, surface insights through data, and drive continuous improvement in quality processes and outcomes.
– Champion Engineering Excellence: Promote high standards across the organization through hands-on guidance, knowledge sharing, and cross-team alignment.
